We’re pleased to announce the inaugural CWA Innovator Showcase Series will kick off on May 10, 2022! The first edition of the series will feature our partners at In-Situ, a company at the forefront of innovation in the water monitoring industry, providing customers with equipment and software designed to help them collect and manage high-quality data. Together, CWA and In-Situ are leveraging innovative technology to analyze and protect our valuable water resources through reliable and highly intuitive products that enable users to deploy, monitor, and gather data efficiently and effectively.
CWA Director of Clusters and Innovation Ebie Holst will moderate a facilitated discussion that will engage diverse perspectives from two In-Situ experts:
- Kerry Caslow is the Application Development Manager for Surface Water at In-Situ and has nearly nine years of experience in continuous monitoring with the U.S. Geological Survey, where she helped lead an urban hydrology program. She followed that with three years of surface water consulting and instruction. From water quality to level to meteorological sensors, Kerry has installed a wide variety of equipment herself and assisted others with deployments at their sites, all with the goal of gathering the highest quality data.
- Andrew Luessenhop, Regional Sales Manager for the Midwest Region at In-Situ, has extensive experience working with customers concerned about issues related to the environment. His region at In-Situ includes the Great Lakes area, one of the largest fresh-water ecosystems in the world. He works closely with government, state and local agencies to understand the goals of their water monitoring programs and to optimize solutions to meet their requirements.
In this session, Kerry and Andrew will use case studies to illustrate how IoT and smart monitoring are being harnessed to bring positive development and innovation to the water sector. They’ll also share their experience engaging with CWA’s world-class Water Accelerator Testbed.
Presented by Cleveland Water Alliance, this series aims to provide stakeholders with access to a “first look” at breakthrough technologies and an opportunity to engage directly with companies and entrepreneurs who are working to solve our greatest water challenges through innovation.
