CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - What is in the lake? That’s a question many of you have asked for decades...
Some new technology looking to answer that, and it could mean jobs and a boost to Cleveland’s economy.
One example is a buoy, and it isn’t one like you’ve seen before.
Like everything else these days, there is advanced technology inside of it.
These buoys have sensors, programed to monitor the lake’s water quality.
It’s the wave of the future.
“We have a booming water economy, but using technology, we can grow even further,” said Samantha Martin with Cleveland Water Alliance.
