The Environmental Science and Design Research Institute (ESDRI), in partnership with the Anti-Racism and Equity Institute (AREI), presents the 8th Annual Environmental Science and Design Symposium at Kent State April 13-14. This year’s theme, “Environmental Justice, Ecology and Race” focuses on issues concerning structural inequality, disparity and natural processes, environmental conflicts and activism, climate justice and equitable environmental design.
We are excited to extend a cordial invitation from our esteemed partners at Kent State University to a water-focused reception, hosted by KSU College of Arts & Sciences, as a part of the highly anticipated 2023 ESDRI Environmental Symposium.
This FREE reception promises to be a remarkable gathering that you wouldn't want to miss. Interested guests are requested to register for the reception, as well as the symposium, which is also FREE of charge. With a focus on Environmental Justice, this year's symposium is set to provide insights on the challenges currently faced by communities across the Great Lakes, including East Palestine.
Trust us, this event is going to be incredibly interesting and informative. We look forward to seeing you there!
