Innovator Spotlight: IoT Sensing and Monitoring

Join us for CWA's May Innovator Spotlight! This session is focused on the family of technologies within The Internet of Things (IoT) that enable automated monitoring or management of conditions – often “in real time” – through the internet. The solutions featured in this discussion equip end-users with the ability to monitor parameters and conditions of interest, particularly for applications in environmental water.

Meet The Speakers

AquaRealTime is an environmental technology company dedicated to enhancing global water health by providing real-time detection of water quality challenges, including Harmful Algal Blooms (HABs), hypoxia, and eutrophication. Their IoT-enabled AlgaeTracker buoys measure key water parameters and transmit data to a cloud-based dashboard for seamless monitoring. With real-time alerts and a fully automated setup, the system offers a hassle-free, comprehensive solution for proactive water management.

Nucleic Sensing Systems (NS2) is developing the world’s only field-deployable, autonomous, web-connected biosensors to report real-time environmental DNA and RNA data. By removing humans from the loop, we empower our customers with real-time data to monitor, predict, and mitigate biological activity.

This series is presented by Badger Meter. Serving water utilities, municipalities, and commercial and industrial customers worldwide, their smart water metering solutions provide actionable intelligence that enables customers to optimize the delivery and use of water, maximize revenue and reduce waste.
