Sorbster manufactures a chemically functionalized filtration breakthrough media which permanently removes dissolved heavy metals at ultra low levels, such as parts per trillion. Contaminates are permanently bound by covalent bonds. Used media passes the TCLP for non-hazardous disposal. This proprietary technology was co-developed with the EPA through a CRADA, helping with confidence in treatment methodology and permitting process.
