is the Chief Operating Officer of Cleveland Metroparks. He is directly responsible for all of Cleveland Metroparks many operational divisions. Joseph is also heavily involved in strategic decision making as well as long-term planning of the agency. He works directly with the Chief Executive Officer in representing the park with external constituency groups, including community, governmental and private organizations. 

Joseph earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a Master’s Degree in Business Management from Cardinal Stritch University. He is a Certified Park and Recreation Executive and a member of the Ohio Parks and Recreation Association and the National Recreation and Park Association. Joseph currently sits on the executive board for the Cleveland Water Alliance (CWA), the National Association of County Park and Recreation Officials (NACPRO), District One Natural Resources Advisory Council of the Ohio Public works Commission (Clean Ohio) NRAC, and the Rocky River Parks and Recreation Commission.

Joseph lives in Rocky River with his wife, Megan and four sons, JJ, Nolan, Connor, and Brooks. In his spare time Joseph enjoys and appreciates the outdoors in a variety of ways through exercise and exploration.
